Entering prepared text into Word Online
Handle formatting first
Word Online keeps source formatting on paste. Paste without formatting for clean text, or paste into a plain text editor and copy again. This fixes most cases where pasted text looks inconsistent with the rest of the document.
Controlled typing into the editor
To place prepared text at a chosen point and watch it enter, controlled typing helps. In PasteFlow, use Inspect Target on the Word Online editor, pick the Safe speed, and start. Keep the run visible and stop any time.
Domain and SharePoint limits
Standard Word Online documents are supported, but Word editors embedded in SharePoint pages are not supported in the current version. Test a short sample, and remember the tool never submits or shares your document.
Common questions
Does this work on SharePoint-hosted Word?
Not in v1. SharePoint-embedded Word editors are unsupported. Standard Word Online documents work at Safe speed.
Will my text leave the browser?
No. Text staged for typing stays in your browser; license activation is a separate network operation.
