Moving prepared text into Google Docs
Paste without formatting
Google Docs is a rich editor, so a normal paste carries fonts, colors, and spacing from the source. Use paste-without-formatting to drop clean text that inherits the document's style. This solves most cases where a paste looks wrong in Docs.
When you want controlled entry
If you want to place prepared text into a specific spot and watch it enter at a readable pace, controlled typing types it in for you. In PasteFlow, use Inspect Target to confirm the editor is selected, choose the Safe speed recommended for Google Docs, and start. You keep pause and stop controls the whole time.
Limits to know
Docs works well at Safe speed, but very fast typing into a complex editor can drop characters, which is why the tool recommends a slower speed and testing a short sample first. PasteFlow does not submit or share your document and keeps text in the browser.
Common questions
Why does Google Docs change my formatting on paste?
Docs applies its own styles and may keep source formatting unless you paste without formatting. Controlled typing enters plain characters at the cursor.
What speed should I use in Docs?
Safe speed is recommended for Google Docs. Test a short sample before a long run.
